Health and Wellness Guarantee
Kindred Bernedoodle raises every puppy in-home with proactive veterinary care and genetic testing on parents. The following protections apply to the puppy named in this Agreement.
1. Veterinary Examination
The Buyer must take their Bernedoodle puppy to a licensed veterinarian for a full health check within seven (7) days of receiving the puppy. If a serious congenital defect or underlying illness is found, Kindred Bernedoodle will issue a full refund of the adoption fee, including transportation costs, upon safe return of the puppy.
2. Health Guarantee
Kindred Bernedoodle provides a two (2) year guarantee against serious congenital defects. If diagnosed by two (2) licensed veterinarians, the Buyer may return the puppy for either a full refund of the adoption fee (including transportation costs) or a replacement puppy of equal value.
3. Communicable Diseases
If the puppy is diagnosed with a communicable disease within the first fourteen (14) days of arrival, Kindred Bernedoodle will refund the full adoption fee, including transportation costs, upon the puppy's return.
4. Return Policy
If the Buyer is ever unable to keep the puppy, for any reason, the puppy must be returned to Kindred Bernedoodle rather than rehomed, resold, or surrendered elsewhere. Every puppy deserves a home that wants them. Upon the puppy's safe return, Kindred Bernedoodle will refund the full puppy price paid; shipping and transportation fees are not refundable.
5. Transportation and Delivery
If the puppy is shipped, the Buyer is responsible for the transportation fee selected below. Kindred Bernedoodle uses trusted pet transport services and provides tracking details for peace of mind. If the Buyer chooses in-person pickup, all remaining balance must be paid in full before or at pickup.
6. Cost and Payment
Payment in full is due before delivery or pickup, as arranged with the Seller. Any unpaid balance will delay release of the puppy until payment is completed.
7. Buyer's Responsibilities
The Buyer agrees to provide lifelong care, including nutritious food, fresh water, safe shelter, daily exercise, and regular veterinary visits. The Buyer must also comply with all local and state regulations regarding dog ownership.
This Agreement represents the full understanding between Kindred Bernedoodle and the Buyer. Any changes must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
