Miniature
20-45 lbsA favorite for families who want the loving Bernedoodle temperament in a compact, easy-to-manage size. There's real parity within the range - smaller minis finish around 20-30 lbs, while larger minis grow into the 35-45 lb range. Great for suburban homes and apartment living with consistent walks and play.

Size vs. Generation
One of the most common areas of confusion is the belief that a puppy's generation automatically determines its adult size. While generation (F1, F1b, F2, etc.) can hint at coat type, it does not reliably predict size on its own. Generation describes how the puppy is bred - the mix of Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle - not its growth potential. Size is influenced far more by the parents' size, build, and genetics, along with patterns from past litters.
