Bringing home a puppy is a big, joyful decision. Here are the steps we recommend as you prepare - from getting your family on board to staying in touch long after pickup. We're here to guide you at every stage.

Include Your Family
Before adding a dog to your home, make sure everyone is on board. Dogs sense when they're welcomed and loved. It's important that kids understand a puppy isn't a toy to be discarded - this is a family decision.
Educate Yourself & Family
Read as much as you can about your chosen breed here on our site and beyond. Watch videos to see what the dog looks like in real life, and familiarize your whole family with what to expect.
Pre-Sold or Litter Choice
Our puppies can sell quickly - sometimes before they're born. Reserving early secures your spot but means you won't pick markings in person; waiting to choose lets you select temperament and markings, but availability may be limited.
Trupanion Pet Insurance
Every puppy goes home with a free 30-day trial of Trupanion Pet Insurance and an information brochure. Trupanion can help cover wellness visits, unexpected emergencies, and medication - because our furry family deserves medical coverage too.
Reserve With a Deposit
A $250 non-refundable deposit holds any of our present or upcoming litters, and it's applied toward your puppy's price. The balance is due at pickup by cash, credit card, or Zelle, including PA's 6% sales tax (a 3.75% handling fee applies to card payments).

Come meet your new family member in person. We can answer more questions face-to-face, arrange details to ease the puppy's transition, and it's a great chance to meet your breeder and see where your puppy was raised.
Keeping in Touch
Once your puppy is home, we'd love to stay in touch and help with any questions. Join our community, share milestones, and - if you're willing - send us a testimonial and a photo of your puppy in their new home. Welcome to the family!
